The wide range of affiliated organisation include professional organisations such as the Tricycle Theatre, semi-professional Flamingo Carnival Club and Brent Artists Register, cultural organisations such as The Kokni Muslim Association, and recreational activities such as the Dollis Hill Art Group and the Madhatters Theatre Club.

Through both roles it seeks to:
• encourage involvement in the arts, both participant and as an audience member
• support individual practitioners
• enable the development of artistic skills and standards

"The Stables"

The Stables Gallery

Set in the attractive Victorian Gladstone Park, Neasden, the Stables (c.1825) was originally the stable building to the near by Dollis Hill House, previously visited by Mark Twain and Prime Minister William Gladstone.

It is the only dedicated non - commercial exhibition space in Brent and hosts up to 12 separate one month long exhibitions each year. Exhibiting artists are chosen by the independent Arts Panel to provide as annual programme which is representative of contemporary style and techniques, and demonstrates the diversity of arts style and practice in the 21st Century. This ensures that a wide variety of current work is shown including site specific installations. Artists are drawn from the whole of the U.K and include both professional and amateur groups.

Three exhibitions are dedicated to local art groups. We are also committed to providing emerging artists with their first opportunity of an exhibition in a London venue, particularly recent graduates from arts schools and universities.

The Centre

The Centre acts as the headquarters of the Brent Arts Council. The building also houses 2 rehearsal/workshop spaces (the Hayloft and Nosebag), and a darkroom. These facilities are used by members of the Brent Arts Council and are available for hire.
